• 2:18 Catholic Schools Week ART Project Featured

  We found the perfect project for the wooden hearts that were so generously donated to the school.
  During our Catholic Schools Week, we celebrate our families and thank them for their support of Catholic Education.
  This year, our students decorated their hearts with colorful tissue paper to create a mosaic look. They then wrote personal messages to their parents thanking them for sending them to St. Theresa School. Check out the video to see how beautifully this project turned out!

  Today we celebrate Dia de Los Muertos. Several of our classrooms hosted oferendas. Mrs. Paz, our Spanish teacher, explained to students the elements needed and showed our younger classes mini shoebox oferendas created by her older students. Students were also able to visit the church to view the amazing display created by several of our parishioners and Mr. Lot.

  We had so much fun at our Trunk or Treat event! Thank you to all the families that participated by donating candy, hosting a trunk, working a game, or serving at the BB!! EVERYONE enjoyed a great evening of trick-or-treating fun and gathering together as a community to enjoy our children. We can't wait to see what you will come up with next year!

  Every year during the month of October we participate in Soctober - a campaign created by Brad Montague (Kid President). Brad wanted to help the homeless in his area and discovered that socks were the item least donated to homeless shelters. He started a campaign. To learn more, search for Brad Montague, Kid President. To help, we at St. Theresa School collect socks each October for the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission. Donations of NEW socks are needed in all sizes. Please bring them to your child's classroom or drop them to the school office.
